David M. Lange

Senior Associate, Certified Family Law Specialist

David M. Lange is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization — a credential earned only by attorneys who demonstrate substantial family law experience and pass the State Bar’s rigorous specialization examination.

David has conducted dozens of family law trials, including multi-day trials, in matters of child custody, child and spousal support, division of property, domestic violence, contempt, and guardianship. That depth of courtroom experience works in his clients’ favor both ways: David is prepared to try a case when trial serves the client’s interests, and to negotiate from a position of strength when resolution is the better path.

David grew up in Fresno and is based today at the firm’s Hanford office, representing clients throughout Kings County and Tulare County, including Visalia and the surrounding Central Valley.

David invests continually in advanced training in his field. He completed the California Family Law Report’s Advanced Family Law Course (2025), an intensive program of more than 75 hours for experienced family law practitioners, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Traditional Trial Advocacy Program (2024), a demanding trial-skills course of more than 40 hours built around full mock trials critiqued by veteran trial attorneys.

Before joining Dias Law Firm, David maintained a solo practice in Visalia, representing clients in family law alongside estate planning, probate, guardianship, and conservatorship matters, and he served with Tulare County’s Department of Child Support Services establishing and enforcing child support orders. He earned his Juris Doctor from San Joaquin College of Law, and before entering law he served 20 years in the United States Air Force before retiring, then spent a decade as a network administrator in local government.

A military veteran himself, David understands the particular strains that deployment, relocation, and service life place on families.

David is a Director and Vice President of the Tulare County Bar Association, and he volunteers as a coach for the Tulare County Office of Education‘s high school mock trial program.
